Jeremy
Nelms is an outgoing and dynamic personal trainer with some
impressive qualifications. Jeremy earned his Master's Degree in Sport
Management from Texas A&M University, which immediately hired him
in 1996 to teach several of its Kinesiology and Activity classes. For
the world-renowned university, he taught up to 400 students per semester
in the classes of Strength Training, Running, Fitness and Conditioning,
Step Aerobics, Gymnastics, Tumbling, Rock Climbing, Ultimate Frisbee,
and even Sport Conditioning…a class that he co-created! Jeremy
is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning
Association. In addition, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist with the same organization. This is exactly the same certification
that our nation's top university and collegiate strength coaches have
achieved, and the certification stands heads and shoulders above the
rest. Another national fitness certification agency, the Aerobics and
Fitness Association of America, actually hired Jeremy to travel the
country, run a 3-day certification and training seminar, and certify
other individuals as personal trainers. In other words, he has
personally certified and trained many other personal trainers!
Finally, in 2004, KBR hired Jeremy to run fitness centers in Iraq. Within 4 short months, he went from running one fitness center to managing 14 different facilities, to include both fitness and recreational facilities. In early July, he left Iraq and returned to the United States to run the personal training program at Prescott Racquet Club in Arizona and assist with the club's overall operations. Jeremy Nelms and his wife have been training at the club since mid-August, and each day they enjoy providing quality personal and group fitness instruction to the Prescott area. Nutrition. Exercise.
