"Decisions and Choices for Fat Loss"

The following email was written earlier this week for our ladies in Adventure Boot Camp. Although it was originally intended just for them, I realized that everyone can benefit from seriously thinking about the questions that I asked them to take time to consider. Read the email below, so that you, too, can take an honest look at the daily decisions you make. As you read it, be sure to consider these questions, as well:

1) Did you make a resolution this year to lose body fat?
2) Are you successfully reaching your goals?
3) If you are not, why aren’t you? What has become more important?

Every day, from the minute we wake up, we start to make choices. Are they serving you or are they harming you? Are they leading you towards success in life, relationships, health, and career? Or are they keeping you exactly where you are today, with no hope of improvement?

Tomorrow marks the end of our first week of Adventure Boot Camp. Ladies, you made an excellent decision to enroll in a fun, exciting, and effective workout program that leads to a reduction in body fat and clothing sizes. Your decision will lead to greater strength, greater self-confidence, and a wonderful feeling of accomplishment

As long as you do your part. As long as you continue to make good choices.

How much water are you drinking? Are you getting 1 gallon per day? How many meals are you eating? Do they follow the Nutrition 101 guidelines? How much sleep are you getting, (so that your body can recover)? What decisions are you making when faced with choices?

Every day, we can choose to get closer to our goals. This week, we have seen a group of women that are fighting for something, that are joining together for a common cause, supporting and encouraging each other when things get difficult. This week, we have seen people make decisions to roll out of bed, even when their body begs them not to. This week, we have talked with a few individuals who have inspired us as instructors by making life-changing choices that will pay dividends for a lifetime. This week, some great decisions have been made, and you will be rewarded for them, as others have been rewarded before you.

How long will you continue to make great decisions? Can you be consistent? Will Saturday and Sunday prove that you are disciplined? Will the weekend reveal how badly you want to succeed?

Be strong this weekend. Prepare large amounts of food and pack it for the coming week. Cut the meat into bite-size pieces, so you have no excuse when things get hectic. Ask for support and encouragement from your spouse or boyfriend, if you do not already have it. Do not let someone else sabotage your success.

Do not sabotage yourself.

Inspire yourself and others by being strong, and one day you will have a fat loss success story that gives someone else hope and belief that they, too, can succeed.
